As a divorce mediator Candice Farrell has helped divorcing or separating couples in their desire to reduce conflict, protect their children and preserve their assets. Candice maintains a divorce mediation practice in Long Island, NY, where she helps couples overcome challenges in the process of separation or divorce. She has unique insight into how difficult the divorce process can be and helps families avoid litigation and the complex court system. She successfully helps couples maintain the good will in their relationships and work out fair and equitable solutions to the matters that are most important to them. Candice considers it a privilege and honor to assist her clients on their journey to live healthier and happier lives.
Candice is a graduate of SUNY College of Cortland with a Bachelors of Science in Health Education and a minor in Biology and Gerontology. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. She received divorce mediation training from the Center for Family and Divorce Mediation. She is trained in the Gottman Couples Therapy Method. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. Candice is a member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation (NYSCDM) and a member of the National Association of Divorce Professionals (NADP).
